So Sarah and I went to see as installed in Central Park. I don’t think we’ve ever seen so many people in Central Park at once, it was overwhelming. Overall, it was a lot of orange, and I’m not sure I understood the artistic intent. What was interesting was observing all of the people at the exhibit, and seeing what they said and did while at the gates. More than anything, it seemed a convenient backdrop for picture taking. I wish it had snowed, as that would have made the whole thing an order of magnitude more dramatic. But, alas, we’re talking about an inverted U with some cloth hanging from it, it only gets so exciting. Still, it was a very pleasant trip, was nice to see a $25 million art project, even if it is way beyond my ability to comprehend.
