I find that the downside of a PPO is because you don’t have to have a primary physician, it’s easy not to. So then you end up picking somebody at random and seeing what happens. That sort of sucks.

I also realized while filling out my information on vaccinations and so forth for a physical, that I have no idea what my past vaccinations look like. I had a pediatrician, certainly, but god knows if I could even get those records. After that, I’ve got records scattered over a dozen doctors in different states, half of which I can’t even remember. I know there are all sorts of privacy concerns, but it would be awful nice if there were a way to carry a docket of health information around digitally. People move, things change, doctors get old, but it would be nice to not have those things have anything that gets in the way of health care.
