It was sad taking all the pictures down from the old cube. I made a promise to myself that I’d finish wallpapering the entire cube before I left it, and I didn’t quite make it. The new office has much less storage, and far less places to stick photos, so I think the approach will be somewhat different. Anyway, it was interesting, as those photos pretty much covered the time from when Sarah and I got married until the present day. A lot of memories along the way.
The office also has a lot of sticky gooey remnants. That bit is kind of gross. With copious use of 409, I’ve managed to clean most of the horizontal surfaces, but I’m not sure the carpet near the desk itself will ever be clean again.
But, I have an office now. And a door. And it’s not one of the offices that supports doubling, so it should be peaceful.
