After the cruise from Victoria to Seattle, it was time to go home. We decided to do a three-hour post-cruise bus tour before getting to the airport. We spent a lot of time driving around downtown, and then stopped at Cafe Appasionato. It was completely horrid in every way, at least as far as coffee goes.
Bus loads of people waiting in line for food remind me of traveling with band in high school. Sucky.
Commodore park was a much more interesting place to visit; they had the locks operated by the army corps of engineers, a salmon ladder, a nice view, and a heron:
There were a couple more stops along the way to see the view, and then the bus driver dropped us off at the airport. We waited there for half a day until it was time for our flight.
