Every day, for a week, Citibank has called my home phone, and left a message. By message, I mean they leave 30 seconds of call center noise on my voicemail.

I actually received the call about a week ago from them and answered it and some guy started explaining why he was calling to sell me some new services in excruciatingly slow English. “Hi… Mr. … Tubesh … I … am … calling … from … … … Citi … Bank … to … tell … you … exciting … additional … …”

You get the idea. I’m not just trying to make another “screw India call centers” rant here, actually. What I mind is that I said “Hi, I don’t care, I don’t want to add anything to my account, I don’t have time to wait for you to finish your sentence, please stop calling me and leaving 30 seconds of call center chatter before hanging up, it’s getting irritating.” And then they still call daily.
