Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread was a recipe sharead in my Google Reader stream recently. In general, recipes on the Internet suck, but I couldn’t really resist trying this one.
The dough looked like this before I tossed it into the oven:
37 minutes in the oven, and out it came; had to sit
patiently painfully for 30 minutes while it cooled.
After the waiting period expired, we started to eat it, which is why it looked like this about 90 seconds later:
How was it? You know how, in a cinnamon bun, the inner kernel is the best tasting part? It’s like an entire loaf made of that. I don’t know if I’ll make it again, but it was fun and tasty, and certainly the pull-apart novelty is nice. “Like monkey bread but good.”
