I did that to Diffie when she was little, and now she just flips out when you try to touch her nails. I have to take her to the vet to get them trimmed because I can’t do it myself, even if I get someone to hold her.

Yeah. :( I’ve never had a problem with it before; she pulled at an inopportune time. Five years of successful nail clipping, and then I botch it. We’ll see how she is next time, but I’m not hopeful now…
