I am pleased to report that my Internet is broken again.

2009-07-10 : whining

Had a solid week of blissful fast Internet from Cablevision, during which I was doubting my purchase of a backup DSL line, and thinking maybe all was well again in the world.

But I should know better; my upstream link just dumped on me and I’m down to 10-20 kb/s max after retransmission and packet loss. In contact with the line department again, but it’s another reminder that the backup line isn’t really optional at this point. If only I could actually get that up and running.
