My Imagination Cannot Compete With AT&T's Broadband Reality

Continuing the saga with a brief update. I called AT&T today. I waited on hold for 27 minutes. When the agent picked up, I was greeted with:

“Hello, and welcome to AT&T broadband support, this is J— speaking. Our systems are actually crashed right now, so I can’t pull anything up … um, is there a general question I can help you with today?”

Deadpan time! “Why yes, J—, I waited 27 minutes on hold so that I could ask a general question.”

“… alright … great! What can I help you with today?”

Was advised to call back in an hour or two, “maybe things will be back up by then.”

  1. I get sick pleasure reading about your misadventures throughout this process. Not a lot of commentary or new ideas I can offer, but, thought you should know, others are enjoying it.
