Haven’t had an accident since I got my driver’s license, I suppose I was due.

3. Yeah, I’m fine. I hit a car who stopped short at a green light to let some cops out; I was on the brakes hard, but couldn’t bring it to a stop in time. The car I hit drove off immediately after the cops were a couple hundred feet down the road. The cop I talked to later explained that that happens a lot with illegal immigrants and uninsured drivers.

4. I take it you underrode the bumper on the other car? (Minimal bumper damage, no lights, but the hood is crumpled back)

5. Pretty much, yes. Acrylic on the lights is busted enough to need replacement, but still looks intact in the photo. Bumper is a little worse than it looks. Needs a new radiator core, etc.
